We boarded a boat and gazed in awe at the magnificent architecture of the palace as it glistened in the crystal-clear water and we listened to the soothing lapping of the waves against our boat.

Without sampling the regional food, no trip is complete, and Tripura does not disappoint. We gorged on traditional foods like bamboo stalk curry, a mainstay in Tripuri homes, and the delectable pig dish Mui Borok. Our taste senses were left begging for more after the burst of spices and fresh ingredients.
